Dear friends:
I regret to return to my blog with terribly tragic news. It is with a heavy heart that I must report that Presiding Bishop Walter H. Grundorf’s wife, Carol, died suddenly Saturday night, 22 July. Please keep the Bishop and his four sons, Wally, Stephen, Jason, and Daniel and their families in your continual prayers, and pray for the repose of Carol's soul.
A family visitation will be held at the Family Funeral Care centre (also known as the National Cremation Society) on Red Bug Lake Road, Oviedo, Florida, Thursday 27 July, 6PM to 8PM. The Solemn High Mass of Requiem will be offered Friday 28 July at Saint Alban's Cathedral, 3348 West State Road 426, Oviedo, Florida at 11AM with a luncheon following.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Carol Grundorf Memorial Fund. Cheques can be made out to 'Saint Alban’s' with the note 'Carol Grundorf Memorial Fund' in the memo field.
Clergy attire for the procession is cassock, surplice and a purple or black stole.
Rest eternal grant unto her, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon her. My her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
This site is dedicated to the traditional Anglican expression of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We profess the orthodox Christian Faith enshrined in the three great Creeds and the Seven Ecumenical Councils of the ancient undivided Church. We celebrate the Seven Sacraments of the historic Church. We cherish and continue the Catholic Revival inaugurated by the Tractarian or Oxford Movement. Not tepid centrist Anglicanism.
