This site is dedicated to the traditional Anglican expression of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We profess the orthodox Christian Faith enshrined in the three great Creeds and the Seven Ecumenical Councils of the ancient undivided Church. We celebrate the Seven Sacraments of the historic Church. We cherish and continue the Catholic Revival inaugurated by the Tractarian or Oxford Movement. Not tepid centrist Anglicanism.

The 1977 ordination of Ellen Marie Barrett (priestess) by Bishop Paul Moore effectively broke the back of Anglican catholic orders. It was a calculated move, as Ellen was known to be a Lesbian. Talk about Pandora's Box!
Please pray and support Archbishop Duncan in his initiative to study this subject - really for the first time, since ECUSA acted, not on the basis of reasoned theological study, but on political pressure and expediency, revealing that it cared nothing about Scripture and Tradition.
"What sort of church do we want to be?" I think these people are asking the wrong question. They should be asking "what kind of church SHOULD we be?" But that's part of the problem these days, everyone is concerned about what they want! It's terribly apparent they don't have a clue what they should be. Tradition has long been forgotten in the "feel good" society!
