Today, we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Guild of All Souls, the Anglican devotional society which seeks to promote the Church's teaching in regard to the Faithful Departed through intercessory prayer for the dying and for the repose of the souls of the departed, encouraging Christian customs at burial, especially the offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and promoting the two great doctrines of the Christian Creed, the Communion of Saints and the Resurrection from the Dead. The Guild was founded by the eminent priest Blessed Arthur Tooth.
This site is dedicated to the traditional Anglican expression of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We profess the orthodox Christian Faith enshrined in the three great Creeds and the Seven Ecumenical Councils of the ancient undivided Church. We celebrate the Seven Sacraments of the historic Church. We cherish and continue the Catholic Revival inaugurated by the Tractarian or Oxford Movement. Not tepid centrist Anglicanism.
