Today, Thursday 21st December 2023, the Feast of Saint Thomas the Apostle, is the 27th Anniversary of my Ordination to the Sacred Order of Priests in the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. I was priested by Archbishop John Thayer Cahoon Junior of the Anglican Catholic Church Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic States at Saint Paul's Church, Lexington, Virginia. Come, Thou long expected Jesus

Born to set Thy people free;

From our fears and sins release us,

Let us find our rest in Thee.

Israel's strength and consolation,

Hope of all the earth Thou art;

Dear desire of every nation,

Joy of every longing heart.

ALMIGHTY God, give us grace that we may cast away the works of darkness, and put upon us the armour of light, now in the time of this mortal life, in which thy Son Jesus Christ came to visit us in great humility; that in the last day, when he shall come again in his glorious majesty to judge both the quick and the dead, we may rise to the life immortal, through him who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Ghost, now and ever. The Society of the Holy Cross

With indescribable gratitude to the faithful of Saint Barnabas Cathedral, Atlanta, I am overjoyed to display this once-in-a-lifetime gift, a new Society of the Holy Cross (SSC) episcopal pectoral Cross, one of only a handful in the world. This exquisite Cross was given today in commemoration of my enthronement in 2021 as Diocesan and Presiding Bishop. Please pray for me as I wear it in service to all of you. God forbid that I should glory, save in the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
