Apostolic Succession - our APA episcopal great-grandfather - on 30th November 1961, William James Hughes, Archbishop of Central Africa, served as the chief consecrator of Donald Seymour Arden as Bishop Ordinary of Nyasaland at the Church of the Ascension, Likwenu. Years later, Archbishop Arden consecrated Bishop Robert William Stanley Mercer, who consecrated Bishop Walter Howard Grundorf.
