Anglican Province of America Hurricane Helene Relief Appeal

30th September 2024

Dearly beloved in Christ,

We pray that this follow-up notice finds all of you secure and safe. The utter devastation caused by Hurricane Helene has exceeded all expectations and has produced disaster and ruin on a level not seen in generations, especially in Western North Carolina and East Tennessee. Over the past 48 hours, the news has become more and more grim. I should like to ask please for your prayerful contributions to an official Anglican Province of America Hurricane Relief Appeal, which donations will be directed to our own families affected by the storm. The APA has several families directly impacted with major property damage. The needs within the hurricane zone are truly incomprehensible and overwhelming, but we can begin to offer our support by helping one another.

Please be generous. We shall prepare a donation link on the Provincial website, anglicanprovince.org. Cheques may be sent to our Provincial Treasurer, Dan Wilder, at 3208 West State Road 426 Suite 2060, Oviedo, Florida, 32765 and marked ‘Hurricane Relief' on the memorandum line.

Thank you so very much for your gracious and beautiful consideration. Let us fervently continue to pray for everyone who has been lost, injured, or dispossessed. May the Lord Jesus Christ bring His divine compassion, peace, and healing to our afflicted land. God bless you.

In Our Blessed Lord,

+Chad

The Most Reverend Chandler Holder Jones, SSC
Presiding and Diocesan Bishop
